About the Role

The Maintenance Engineer is a key member of our team at Kampgrounds of America, responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our campgrounds, facilities, and equipment. This role requires a strong technical background, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery, electrical systems, and other equipment. The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing equipment and installation, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, operation, and upkeep of campground buildings, facilities, equipment, and grounds
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery, electrical systems, and other equipment
• Conduct preventative maintenance program and handle guest requests and other work orders as assigned
• Maintain compliance with KOA, federal, state, and local safety programs
• Ensure proper functioning of heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, electrical systems, etc.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing equipment and installation
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Valid Driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, lift and carry 25 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds regularly
