Job Summary

Fetch Rewards is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining a high-throughput data platform that delivers data to a data lake or makes it available for real-time consumption. You will also implement high availability and durability best practices for the platform, provide robust monitoring and alarming, and develop CI/CD pipelines that enable rapid iteration and deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a high-throughput data platform that meets the needs of Fetch Rewards
  • Implement high availability and durability best practices for the platform
  • Provide robust monitoring and alarming for the platform
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines that enable rapid iteration and deployment
  • Support and maintain large repositories with automated testing and validation

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or similar quantitative field
  • 3 years of experience in software engineering using a modern programming language such as Python, Golang, Rust, or Java
  • 1 year of experience on a project that required experience with cloud engineering and DevOps utilizing AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD, or another cloud native tool
  • 1 year of experience on a project that required experience developing and deploying data pipelines that are tied to business value
  • 1 year of experience on a project that required deployment using shell tools and scripting
  • 1 year of experience on a project that required deployment and use of monitoring tools to tune and optimize high-throughput systems
