Musculoskeletal Therapist and Rehabilitation Specialist

At JAG Physical Therapy, we're seeking a compassionate and motivated individual to join our team as a Musculoskeletal Therapist and Rehabilitation Specialist.
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
About the Role:We're looking for a skilled Physical Therapist who can excel in assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses, developing effective treatment plans, and ensuring patient confidentiality in a supportive environment.
As a key member of our team, you'll utilize your clinical knowledge to execute daily care plans, document patient progress, and collaborate with healthcare teams to facilitate recovery and enhance functional independence. You'll also maintain a positive atmosphere, encourage patients, and provide education and functional training.

- Collects and records patient care data, following guidelines and regulatory agencies. This includes initial evaluation, daily notes, reassessments, progress reports, discharge plans, and communication with team members.
- Selects and administers tests and measures, synthesizing results to formulate diagnosis, goals, prognosis, and plan of care.
- Establishes treatment plans based on evaluation results, goals, and best practice, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and patients.
- Identifies need for consultations, refers patients to other healthcare professionals or services, initiates and completes discharge plans, and provides education/training to patients and support systems.
- Responsible for treatment, plan of care, exercise prescription, and interventions for patient caseload, including musculoskeletal interventions, therapeutic exercises, joint mobilization, and modalities.
- Oversees support staff, attends annual billing and coding seminars, and promotes JAG in the community through lectures/presentations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate degree preferred.
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state practicing in.
- Completed state-regulated CEU requirement in the appropriate state (NY, NJ).
- Valid CPR license.
- Experience/knowledge with EMR software preferred.
