Job Overview

As a Sign Language Interpreter at ProCare Therapy, you will play a vital role in enhancing communication for students within schools. By working closely with teachers and other professionals, you will contribute to creating an inclusive environment for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing sign language interpretation during classroom instruction and various school activities.
  • Facilitating communication between students, educators, and other school staff.
  • Collaborating with the educational team to ensure the inclusion and success of students with hearing impairments.
  • Adhering to ethical standards and confidentiality in all interpreting assignments.
  • Supporting individualized learning plans for students with hearing-related needs.
  • Participating in professional development and training opportunities as needed.
