Role Summary

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Operations Supervisor at our New Holland, PA manufacturing facility. This pivotal leadership position is essential within our vibrant operational unit. The individual will oversee the upkeep of machinery and equipment, ensuring that maintenance practices align with regulatory and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Maintenance team by establishing direction and allocating resources effectively. Success is primarily achieved through the efforts of others, necessitating strong influence and negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance and repairs are conducted on all equipment and systems, including mechanical and electrical.
  • Assess and recommend enhancements to equipment to boost Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Personnel and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
  • Engage closely with Engineering on capital projects related to equipment.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports documenting equipment modifications and maintenance procedures.
  • Achieve daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and set clear targets and corrective actions for the team.
  • Ensure that PM activities enhance overall plant efficiency through increased machine uptime and reduced maintenance costs.
  • Partner with Human Resources on talent acquisition, enhancing mechanical expertise, and team development.
  • Work hours are from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with additional hours as necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, coupled with a minimum of 5 years in a maintenance leadership role or equivalent supervisory experience.
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, with at least 7 years of experience in a maintenance leadership capacity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles, particularly regarding Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
  • Proficiency in planning maintenance operations.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

The annual salary for this position ranges from $63,375 to $92,950, in addition to any applicable bonuses (actual salaries will vary based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications).
