Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Merchandise Associate to join our team at Marshalls Store 1528 in Jacksonville, FL. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves, folding merchandise, and ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including ringing purchases, handling returns, and counting change.
  • Support the growth of your career by taking on additional responsibilities, cross-training in multiple areas of the store, and participating in store recovery efforts.
  • Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, including maintaining a safe work environment and participating in safety awareness initiatives.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, peers, and supervisors.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Retail customer experience preferred, but not required.

This position has a starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
