Job Summary

BayMark Health Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Dispensing Nurse to join our team. As a Lead Dispensing Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in our outpatient clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Management: Ensure that physicians' medication orders are accurately and timely implemented, including delivery to outside facilities.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, ensuring that medical services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Team Leadership: Delegate tasks to certified nursing assistants, medication technicians, or unlicensed personnel, ensuring that they are competent to perform their duties.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the Nursing Supervisor regarding potential issues, and participate in treatment teams, panel reviews, and department head meetings.
  • Nursing Team Management: Manage nursing team schedules, conduct performance improvement activities, and prepare monthly reports.
  • Clinical Decision Making: Review and resolve client clinical complaints, and intervene in crisis situations.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Licensure: Licensed in NH as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Experience: Prior experience in substance abuse, mental health treatment, or addiction medicine is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Knowledge: Fundamental knowledge of professional nursing principles, techniques, basic addiction medicine science, and community health and welfare resources.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in EMR and Microsoft Suite.
  • Certifications: Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
