Key Responsibilities- Medication Management: Ensure that physicians' medication orders are accurately and timely implemented, including delivery to outside facilities.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, ensuring that medical services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Team Leadership: Delegate tasks to certified nursing assistants, medication technicians, or unlicensed personnel, ensuring that they are competent to perform their duties.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the Nursing Supervisor regarding potential issues, and participate in treatment teams, panel reviews, and department head meetings.
- Nursing Team Management: Manage nursing team schedules, conduct performance improvement activities, and prepare monthly reports.
- Clinical Decision Making: Review and resolve client clinical complaints, and intervene in crisis situations.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Licensure: Licensed in NH as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with 3-5 years of experience.
- Experience: Prior experience in substance abuse, mental health treatment, or addiction medicine is preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Knowledge: Fundamental knowledge of professional nursing principles, techniques, basic addiction medicine science, and community health and welfare resources.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in EMR and Microsoft Suite.
- Certifications: Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
