At Meelo Education, we partner with various organizations to place qualified and compassionate School Psychologists in roles that align with their expertise, location, and professional aspirations.
Position: School Psychologist
Compensation: $80.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological evaluations to determine students' strengths, challenges, and requirements.
- Work collaboratively with educators, guardians, and specialists to create tailored education plans (IEPs) for students with unique needs.
- Provide therapeutic support and guidance to students dealing with emotional or behavioral issues.
- Assist in the development and execution of behavior management strategies.
- Conduct research and gather data to evaluate the success of interventions and educational programs.
- Deliver crisis intervention services when necessary.
- Engage in multidisciplinary team discussions to review student progress and suggest interventions or accommodations.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in School Psychology or a related discipline.
- State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Professional Educator License (Mandatory)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in an educational environment is preferred.
