Job Summary

ANR Group Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer II to join our team. This is a full-time office position that requires no telework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and design concrete and steel structural systems, including seismic design and analysis.
  • Design and develop foundation systems and drawings.
  • Assist with site inspections and walkdowns of existing facilities.
  • Perform formal calculations and reviews of existing conditions and as-built drawings.
  • Review and integrate customer and vendor information from subcontractors into design solutions.
  • Develop design configuration packages for configuration control, change management, and procurement.
  • Develop design specifications for construction and/or procurement.
  • Execute projects to schedule requirements while maintaining high-quality work products.
  • Coordinate with other technical disciplines in planning and executing work as an integrated team.
  • Onsite and project coordination with customers and project locations to coordinate designs with teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Structural or related) from an accredited university, with at least 9 years of relevant experience.
  • US citizenship is required per contract requirement.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs, VISIO, and other common computer programs.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to utilize office automation tools effectively.
  • Broad knowledge of the application of Structural engineering design principles.
  • Ability to execute work independently and greater than 1 year of client service for consideration of working at other than designated locations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Possess active security clearance.
  • Registered Structural Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the United States.
  • Master's degree in Structural or related Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Experience designing seismic bracing and supports.
  • Experience executing engineering and design with Revit.
  • Design experience with Unified Facilities Criteria and the Whole Building Design Guide.
  • Prior experience working with government agencies, preferably the Department of Defense.
  • Experience working with procedures meeting quality assurance programs such as ASME-NQA-1, MIL-Q-9858A, or ISO-9000.
  • Knowledge of Corporate guides and standards.
  • Intermediate knowledge of developing CSI Masterformat specifications, or SpecsIntact.
