ANR Group Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer II to join our team. This is a full-time office position that requires no telework.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and design concrete and steel structural systems, including seismic design and analysis.
- Design and develop foundation systems and drawings.
- Assist with site inspections and walkdowns of existing facilities.
- Perform formal calculations and reviews of existing conditions and as-built drawings.
- Review and integrate customer and vendor information from subcontractors into design solutions.
- Develop design configuration packages for configuration control, change management, and procurement.
- Develop design specifications for construction and/or procurement.
- Execute projects to schedule requirements while maintaining high-quality work products.
- Coordinate with other technical disciplines in planning and executing work as an integrated team.
- Onsite and project coordination with customers and project locations to coordinate designs with teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Structural or related) from an accredited university, with at least 9 years of relevant experience.
- US citizenship is required per contract requirement.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs, VISIO, and other common computer programs.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to utilize office automation tools effectively.
- Broad knowledge of the application of Structural engineering design principles.
- Ability to execute work independently and greater than 1 year of client service for consideration of working at other than designated locations.
- Possess active security clearance.
- Registered Structural Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the United States.
- Master's degree in Structural or related Engineering from an accredited university.
- Experience designing seismic bracing and supports.
- Experience executing engineering and design with Revit.
- Design experience with Unified Facilities Criteria and the Whole Building Design Guide.
- Prior experience working with government agencies, preferably the Department of Defense.
- Experience working with procedures meeting quality assurance programs such as ASME-NQA-1, MIL-Q-9858A, or ISO-9000.
- Knowledge of Corporate guides and standards.
- Intermediate knowledge of developing CSI Masterformat specifications, or SpecsIntact.
