About the Role

DXP Enterprises is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Professional to join our team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, with expertise in various accounting software, including QuickBooks, ADP, UltiPro, and Kronos.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment follow-ups, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial reports, providing detailed analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, and document management, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Handle incoming calls and correspondence, directing them to the appropriate departments, ensuring prompt and effective communication.
  • Support the accounting department in daily tasks, collaborating with colleagues to achieve goals and objectives.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Prior experience in corporate accounting, preferably with a focus on financial analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with financial concepts and practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable processes, including credit checks, invoicing, and collections.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and supportive work culture.
