Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders.
  • Counsel customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs, maintaining confidential information and adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
  • Maintain controlled medication and required documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement business solutions to improve patient care and safety, working closely with key stakeholders to identify and address areas for improvement.
  • Model and enforce proper customer service approaches and techniques, ensuring that customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved within company guidelines and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for assigned areas, analyzing and interpreting reports to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
