Onsite Women's Health is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a Per Diem Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of office environments, utilizing the latest 3D tomosynthesis digital mammography equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms for the detection of breast cancers and lesions.
- Assist in the initial and ongoing success of the mammography service in the practice.
- Prepare patients for the mammographic procedure and explain procedures to reduce anxieties.
- Operate mammographic equipment, adjusting controls to set exposure factors.
- Practice radiation protection techniques and follow prescribed safety standards.
- Examine digital images for image quality and ensure equipment is in proper working order.
- Perform QA testing and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Process routine paperwork and data entry, and participate in professional development activities.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in mammography.
- ARRT certification.
- Up-to-date CME credits.
- Patient-centric, compassionate, and computer-savvy.
- Flexible and able to multi-task.
