Job Summary

Onsite Women's Health is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a Per Diem Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of office environments, utilizing the latest 3D tomosynthesis digital mammography equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms for the detection of breast cancers and lesions.
  • Assist in the initial and ongoing success of the mammography service in the practice.
  • Prepare patients for the mammographic procedure and explain procedures to reduce anxieties.
  • Operate mammographic equipment, adjusting controls to set exposure factors.
  • Practice radiation protection techniques and follow prescribed safety standards.
  • Examine digital images for image quality and ensure equipment is in proper working order.
  • Perform QA testing and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Process routine paperwork and data entry, and participate in professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in mammography.
  • ARRT certification.
  • Up-to-date CME credits.
  • Patient-centric, compassionate, and computer-savvy.
  • Flexible and able to multi-task.
