Position Overview
Akerman LLP is seeking a qualified Associate with 3 to 6 years of experience in trusts and estates law. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in complex estate planning, asset protection strategies, trust and estate administration, and taxation matters. Experience in international estate planning is advantageous. A Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Estate Planning or Taxation is a prerequisite. While the preferred location is Orlando, candidates may also be considered for any Florida office.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school
- Active membership in The Florida Bar
- 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in trusts and estates
- Strong understanding of estate planning and taxation
