Job Summary
This position is a key role in the Department of Medicine at East Tennessee State University, responsible for providing clinical care, teaching, and research in the field of Hematology/Oncology. The successful candidate will be a highly skilled physician with a strong academic background and a passion for teaching and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in the inpatient and outpatient settings, with a focus on Hematology/Oncology.
- Develop and implement educational programs for medical students, residents, and fellows, with a focus on Hematology/Oncology.
- Contribute to the development of research projects and publications in the field of Hematology/Oncology.
- Participate in departmental and university service activities, including committee work and faculty governance.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution (MD/MBBS/DO)
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Hematology/Oncology
- Completion of ACGME-accredited residency and fellowship programs
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of practice
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in medical education and research
- Dedication to teaching and mentorship
