Job Description

The Lube Technician plays a vital role in customer satisfaction and the overall success of Miller Auto Plaza. The position utilizes education and experience to complete light maintenance work on vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner and communicate with department employees as necessary.
  • Complete oil changes, tire rotations, flushes, and other routine maintenance tasks.
  • Repair broken or worn mechanical components.
  • Maintain repair and service records.
  • Install equipment, components, and systems.
  • Repair electrical wiring, circuits, and fixtures.
  • Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect repair operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know.
  • Maintain and execute health and safety guidelines, policies, and procedures at all times.
  • Other duties as deemed necessary by management.

Requirements:

  • Must be presentable and professional appearing at all times.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Automotive education preferred.
  • 2-3 years applicable experience preferred.
  • Good organizational skills and time management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications.
  • Product knowledge.
