Job Role

The Medical Support Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors. Your responsibilities will include determining donor eligibility, managing donor reactions, and reviewing laboratory test results.

Main Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage donor reactions in accordance with SOPs.

  • Notify donors of unsuitable test results and initiate Post Donation Information (PDI).

  • Support the EHS program and assist with employee incidents and first aid.

  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to center-level support of environmental, health and safety initiatives.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Graduate of a recognized educational program.

  • Two years' experience in a clinical or hospital setting (desired).

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
