This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for an experienced Speech Therapist to utilize their skills and expertise in assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitation services for individuals with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans that cater to their unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to improve speech, language, and swallowing abilities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between settings
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records to track patient progress and outcomes
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based interventions

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited institution
  • Current certification or licensure as an SLP (e.g., CCC-SLP or ASHA membership)
  • At least 2 years of experience working with adult populations with complex communication and swallowing disorders
  • Excellent assessment, treatment, and documentation skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.

Work-Life Balance:

This full-time position requires flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate patient schedules and needs. Travel may be required to visit clients in residential settings.
