Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a qualified Attorney licensed in Alabama to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of civil litigation processes, exceptional research skills, and proficient oral and written advocacy capabilities. Responsibilities will include:

  • Defending the interests of State Farm and its insured clients in civil litigation within Circuit and District Courts.
  • Conducting depositions and managing written discovery requests.
  • Reviewing and summarizing medical records pertinent to cases.
  • Collaborating with clients and State Farm Claims personnel.
  • Preparing litigation summaries and necessary reports.
  • Representing cases in court during trials.

Some travel may be required, both locally and out of state.



Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor degree from an A.B.A accredited institution with outstanding academic performance.
  • Active Alabama law license and good standing with the Alabama Bar.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in civil litigation, preferably in insurance defense.
  • Familiarity with local and state discovery rules and trial procedures.
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems, Microsoft Word, Adobe, and relevant legal software.
  • Experience in a paperless electronic work environment.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Work Environment: This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a combination of remote and in-office work.
