Inova Health System is seeking a highly skilled CVOR Technologist to join our dedicated team in Arlington, Virginia.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the OR Service Leader in ensuring unit compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Act as a resource in the CVOR, providing expertise and support to the surgical team.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to enhance patient care.
- Serve as a liaison and information resource for the specialty, providing guidance and support to colleagues.
- Oversee the provision of therapeutic care in a holistic, evidence-based environment, producing excellent patient outcomes.
- Certification: Basic Life Support upon start; Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA or Tech in Surgery – Certified (TS-C) via NCCT; Must be eligible for Surgical Technologist registration via Commonwealth of Virginia at time of hire.
- Registration must be completed within 6 months of hire.
- Licensure: None required.
- Experience: 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience in cardiac surgery.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
