Nurse Practitioner

Luke is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a Primary Care Specialist role. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, education, and support to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients, including routine check-ups, acute and chronic condition management, and preventive care.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Diagnose and treat common medical conditions, including minor trauma and acute illnesses, within established protocols and guidelines.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote health and wellness, and provide education and counseling to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited program.
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in any state in the United States, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.
- At least two years of experience in primary care, with a focus on family medicine, general medicine, or internal medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The Nurse Practitioner will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing care to patients in a variety of settings. The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks effectively is essential.
