Role Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
  • Providing nursing care in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing regulations and professional standards.
  • Coordinating patient care by collecting and analyzing assessment data, setting expected outcomes, and developing care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Implementing and evaluating nursing interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes, while documenting the care process accurately.
  • Addressing the unique needs of patients and families, considering age-specific requirements.
  • Promoting effective teamwork within the healthcare environment and collaborating with colleagues to meet patient needs throughout their care journey.
  • Delegating tasks appropriately, in accordance with nursing regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • A Diploma in Nursing, an Associate's Degree in Nursing, or higher; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • 0 - 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
  • A current RN license in North Carolina or a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state.
  • Basic Life Support certification.

Additional Information

This position is classified as 0.9 FTE, requiring three 12-hour shifts per week, with a comprehensive orientation program lasting 12 weeks.
