This role involves providing emergency medical care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be adept in emergency procedures and comfortable managing a diverse patient demographic.
Work ScheduleThe position entails 10-12 hour shifts, with the following hours:
- Saturday, Sunday, and Monday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Tuesday through Friday: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Applicants must possess:
- An active license in the relevant state
- DEA registration
- BLS and PALS certifications
- Experience with Meditech EMR
Credentialing for this position is expected to take approximately 4-6 weeks. Travel and accommodation expenses will be reimbursed.
Patient CareThe expected case load is approximately 13,500 annual visits, with a focus on all age groups. The support staff includes 24-hour MD coverage and 10-12 hours of APP coverage.
Additional InformationThis opportunity does not require on-call duties, and board certification along with prescriptive authority is mandatory.
