We are seeking an experienced and skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team in Fremont. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for optimizing and improving our Lapping, Polishing, and Grinding processes to ensure the highest quality of our diamond surface finishing technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate, collect data, and analyze the performance of Surface Finishing equipment to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and train new team members.
  • Conduct root cause failure analysis of low-yielding manufacturing runs, present findings, and implement corrective actions.
  • Study and communicate the interdependencies of upstream process variation on surface finishing processes and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address production ramp challenges.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience in Lapping, Polishing, or Grinding.
  • Knowledge of Lapping, Polishing, and Grinding manufacturing equipment and associated components.
  • Experience with Surface Measurement Metrology equipment, WLI, AFM is a plus.
  • Strong statistical data analytics skills (DOE, SPC) and hands-on experience with Polishing setups.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to convey data insights to various audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
