About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Quantitative Analyst to join our Analytics team.
This role involves:
• Developing efficient and error-free code using SAS/R and SQL that accurately applies methodologies defined to complete analysis.
• Producing and presenting client-ready tables and charts with strong aesthetics for internal and external presentation using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Contributing to protocol and statistical analysis plan development by providing analytical, database, therapeutic, epidemiological, and statistical expertise and experience.
• Designing, implementing, and interpreting basic and advanced statistical methods.
• Having working knowledge of multiple databases commonly utilized.
• Conceptualizing project scope and time required from initiation through completion of client deliverables.
• Handling multiple concurrent projects/tasks and meeting internal and external deadlines by effectively managing one's own time.
• Providing proactive, responsive, high-quality execution of client deliverables.
• Leading proposal development with oversight from client director, leading client meetings, and assisting with scientific communications (abstracts/posters).
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
• A Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field from an accredited college or university (e.g., statistics/biostatistics, epidemiology, bioinformatics, health economics, mathematics, outcomes research, public health, biology, medicine); a Master's, MPH, or PhD degree is preferred.
• 4+ years relevant work experience (less with PhD); demonstrated knowledge of R/SAS and statistical methods over a 6+ year period.
• Experience developing and implementing statistical analysis plans utilizing real-world data or clinical trials.
• Demonstrated thorough aptitude for conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses.
• Willingness to provide superior customer service through first-rate work product.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical data analysis results to business people and communicate quantitative challenges to technical people.
Preferred Knowledge
Experience working with analytical models and visualization techniques and tools; advanced analytics techniques (regression, simulation, etc.); identifying and addressing client needs, building relationships with clients, and developing requests for proposals.
