**Job Summary**
As a Maternal Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, emphasizing emotional support and education to ensure patient well-being. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive medical and nursing care. Your commitment to respect, compassion, and culturally competent healthcare will make a significant impact on our patients' lives.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients within designated timeframes, utilizing observation, communication, and examination skills.
- Develop individualized plans of care, identifying problems/needs, nursing diagnoses, standards of care/practice, interventions, and attainable outcomes.
- Plan for patient teaching, discharge, and post-discharge needs, ensuring seamless transitions.
- Administer medications safely and accurately, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Document patient information accurately and timely.
We offer a competitive estimated salary range of $70,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. **Required Qualifications**
- Licensed by the State of Tennessee.
- Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university.
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
- At least one year of perinatal experience (preferred).
- NRP certification within six months of hire.
- ACLS certification or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.
