Your Role...

As a Mechanical Systems Technician, your primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for our clients. You will be expected to swiftly and effectively diagnose issues, communicate the necessary actions to clients, and propose the most efficient and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities...

Some tasks you may undertake include:

  • Identifying and resolving issues within building systems or escalating them as necessary.
  • Utilizing diagnostic tools to pinpoint system malfunctions.
  • Interpreting blueprints and specifications to outline work details and procedures.
  • Applying knowledge of building layouts to inspect structures and identify serviceable components.
  • Maintaining records of assignments and generating detailed reports to ensure accurate billing.
  • Collaborating with clients to address concerns in order of priority.
  • Promoting ongoing maintenance contracts to non-contract clients when suitable.
  • Employing specialized techniques and tools to expedite the diagnostic process.
  • Guiding apprentices in repair tasks and coaching them on safe and effective work methods.
  • Performing maintenance, repairs, adjustments, and testing of mechanical devices and equipment.
  • Inspecting equipment and materials to determine causes of errors or safety hazards and addressing them appropriately.
  • Executing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications...

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in MEP service within industrial, commercial, or HVAC preventive maintenance sectors.
  • Universal EPA Certification.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft and Google products.
  • Ability to convey complex HVAC concepts to clients in an understandable manner.
  • Strong time management capabilities.
  • Fluency in English, with effective reading, writing, and communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.
  • Willingness to travel locally up to 75% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of OSHA 30-Hour Training.
  • Current First Aid/CPR Certification.
