About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled Terminal Care Nurse Specialist to join our team at BEK Care, LLC. As a Terminal Care Nurse Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients with terminal illnesses, and supporting their families throughout the care journey.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with terminal illnesses, including those with cancer, Alzheimer's disease, and other life-limiting conditions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the patient's physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs, and provide appropriate interventions to address these needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, including progress notes, medication lists, and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination and transitions.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Minnesota or North Dakota.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospice or palliative care nursing, with a focus on terminal illness care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to demonstrate empathy, compassion, and cultural sensitivity when interacting with patients and families.
