Tolunay-Wong Engineers, Inc. is seeking a skilled Construction Materials Testing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for performing routine construction monitoring, field and/or laboratory tests, and preparing reports.
Key Responsibilities- Field Testing: Conduct routine construction monitoring, field and/or laboratory tests to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Sample Preparation: Prepare and transport samples to the laboratory for processing and testing.
- Quality Control: Uniquely identify all materials samples and maintain this identification throughout each testing process.
- Support: Support field and/or laboratory personnel as needed to complete tasks.
- Equipment Maintenance: Responsible for maintaining a clean work area and equipment.
- Team Collaboration: Assist other technicians or professional staff as needed.
- Experience: 0 – 6 months of experience in a related field.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 10 – 60 lbs. and work outside for extended periods of time.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Communication: Capacity to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Health Insurance: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance.
- Life Insurance: Individual $50,000 coverage is 100% paid by Tolunay-Wong Engineers, Inc.
- Disability Insurance: Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance.
