Medical Support Assistant

Responsibilities
- Assist with patient care activities and services of a technical nature
- Participate in daily unit activities and order
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
Requirements
Education: For employees hired after 12/1/2017, a Nursing Assistant certification on either the Minnesota Department of Health Nursing Assistant Registry or the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry is required. Alternatively, candidates can be currently enrolled in an accredited Nursing program and have completed one semester of clinical rotations.
Experience: Six months of verifiable clinical experience are necessary for this position. Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Certification with a designation of either BLS Provider or Healthcare Provider from either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
Working Conditions
This role may involve exposure to unpleasant patient elements and regular exposure to risk of blood borne diseases.
