Mental Health Therapist Role

Serene Health is seeking licensed behavioral health professionals to redefine behavioral healthcare. As a remote and onsite Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will provide clinical interviewing and assessment services, conduct individual, family, and group counseling sessions, and offer general psychiatric emergency intervention.
This position requires knowledge of adult psychology principles and theories, as well as laws and regulations governing patients' rights. You must be able to accurately assess client mental status using established diagnostic criteria, formulate effective treatment plans, and monitor patient progress. Additionally, you will participate in the intake process, provide crisis intervention, treatment, case management, referrals, and other related mental health care services.
Responsibilities:
- Interviews and conducts diagnostic assessments of patients to develop treatment and recovery plans.
- Participates in the intake process by interviewing patients and their family members to obtain medical and mental health treatment history.
- Provides ongoing clinical assessment, treatment planning, and clinical treatment for patients and families.
Qualifications:
A Master's degree in marriage, family, and child counseling or a related field is required. Must maintain a current license in the state of Georgia as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). The estimated salary for this role is $75,000 to $90,000 annually.
