Job Overview

Bayview Physicians Group is a rapidly growing outpatient multi-specialty medical group that values the doctor-patient relationship as the cornerstone of quality healthcare. We have over 600 positions available in the Hampton Roads area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and colleagues
  • Perform various administrative tasks as requested by physicians and office managers
  • Coordinate patient care by taking vital signs, documenting information in electronic medical records, and processing prescriptions
  • Update patient records with accurate and relevant information during each visit
  • Process prior authorizations and refill requests in the Electronic Medical Record system
  • Respond to patient inquiries and take messages for physicians as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Must maintain appropriate Pharmaceutical license
