We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our NICU team at Ascension Wisconsin. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill newborns and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient and family.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, lab results, and other relevant data to inform patient care decisions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Wisconsin required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
- Experience working in a NICU or pediatric intensive care unit.
- Certification in a relevant specialty, such as neonatal nursing or pediatric critical care.
