Atrium Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care to a diverse population with complex medical, surgical, cardiac, neurological, and trauma needs.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze patient data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to attain expected outcomes.
- Implement care delivery and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
- Evaluate progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes.
- Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers.
- Promote shared governance and contribute to quality nursing practice.
- Communicate effectively in all areas of practice.
- Demonstrate leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- BLS required per policy guidelines.
- Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state in which you work and reside.
This role requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
