Position Summary:
The Construction Project Supervisor will oversee daily operations at a designated project site. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
This individual will be stationed in a mobile office on-site and will play a key role in scheduling deliveries, monitoring delivery timelines, and managing concrete repairs, as well as addressing any downtime during construction activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily communication with precast suppliers, trade partners, and the general contractor during construction.
- Provide comprehensive daily reports of all site activities to the Project Office Manager.
- This role is considered a 'working supervisor' position, serving as the primary contact for the company during construction.
Essential Duties:
- Track all precast deliveries, noting installation times and any delays or downtime.
- Assist in dispatching products to minimize downtime for on-site crews.
- Coordinate weekly crew schedules to enhance efficiency and adhere to project timelines and budgets.
- Document and manage structural fixes, including:
1. Identifying and logging the location of required fixes.
2. Photographing the fix locations.
3. Sending reports to engineering and project management as necessary.
- Manage the delivery of fixes to the job site and communicate timelines with erection teams.
- Log any downtime experienced by erection crews related to precast scope.
MEP Coordination:
- Monitor and document MEP coordination issues, identifying errors in panel layouts and determining their source.
- Collaborate with the EPCI patch crew for necessary repairs if errors are attributed to EPCI.
Management Responsibilities:
- Assume management duties, including performance management, training, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Qualifications:
- An Associate's degree in construction is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working with architectural precast concrete.
Additional Requirements:
- A clean driving record is mandatory.
- Proficiency in necessary software for creating field tickets, managing employee timecards, and establishing written procedures.
- Ability to read blueprints and effectively utilize Microsoft Office and Bluebeam software for tracking production and repairs.
