Position Title: Axiom Developer

Job Type: Contract (Hybrid)

Location: Remote

Expected Duration: 12 Months

Compensation: $65 - $70/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in hands-on development of high-quality AXIOM code, ensuring it is readable, efficient, and maintainable.
  • Implement Axiom configurations from various data sources, including data models and portfolio aggregations.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to Axiom configurations, conducting thorough root cause analysis.
  • Develop and review PL/SQL code to facilitate data sourcing into Axiom, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end data flow.
  • Ensure that all code and configurations adhere to established company and departmental standards.
  • Review requirements documentation to confirm a clear understanding of functional requirements.
  • Conduct performance tuning exercises through the review of PL/SQL code.
  • Prepare and execute detailed unit test cases to validate Axiom code functionality.
  • Coordinate the implementation process, including code packaging and securing necessary approvals.
  • Collaborate with business counterparts and cross-functional teams for requirement gathering, testing, implementation, and delivery.
  • Provide ongoing support during business as usual (BAU) operations and post-implementation phases.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience as an Axiom developer.
  • Experience with Tableau or other Business Intelligence (BI) tools is advantageous.
  • Proficient in database management, SQL, and algorithm design.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages to assist in automation tasks.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
