Superintendent - Commercial Construction

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Superintendent in the Commercial Construction industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising crews, managing budgets, ensuring safety standards, and coordinating schedules.

• Oversee all operations on the construction site and ensure that work is done safely, on time, and within budget.
• Supervise crews of various trades such as electric, plumbing, and mechanical.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress, and cost tracking reports.
• Develop and implement quality control programs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed to maintain a safe work environment.
• Schedule and coordinate work to tight deadlines and within financial budgets.
• Effectively liaise with clients, construction professionals, and other stakeholders.
• Implement cost control measures to ensure project profitability.
• Manage project activities to meet project objectives, including procurement, scheduling, productivity, quality, and safety.

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent in the commercial construction industry.
• Proven experience in supervising crews and managing construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction cost control and basic accounting principles.
• Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and construction documents.
• Excellent ability to manage project scheduling and budgeting.
• Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
• Strong understanding of safety management principles.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in construction management software.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
