Press Operator

We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team at Express Employment Professionals in Columbus, IN. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and performing assembly operations, operating presses, and ensuring parts comply with quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, ability to work accurately, and perform repetitive tasks for long periods. Additionally, they must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs (boxes of steel) and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
This is a full-time opportunity with the potential for evaluation-to-hire for the right candidate. The schedule includes day shifts from 6am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday, and night shifts from 7:30pm to 6am, Monday through Thursday.
In this role, you will also be responsible for calculating and setting controls, setup and operating machines, processing parts correctly through the shop, interpreting process sheets and tooling sheet charts, packing parts for shipment, and maintaining a safe work area daily.
Salary: $20-$21 per hour
