Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of the jobsite foreman, superintendent, and project manager. The Laborer will be responsible for performing physical labor tasks, including lifting, pulling, digging, cleaning work sites, maintaining and cleaning equipment and tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely completion of job tasks and deadlines.
  • Perform daily tool inspection checks and report any malfunctions or issues to the immediate supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work site.
  • Ensure tools are properly shut down and stored at the end of each shift.
  • Accurately maintain logs and records.
  • Fuel equipment as needed.
  • Adhere to corporate safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Use tools safely to minimize the risk of injury and property damage.
  • Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance to access secured facilities, including military bases.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to wear mandatory Personal Protective Equipment, including steel-toed boots, safety vest, hard hat, eye protection, and hearing protection.
  • Knowledge of tools, equipment, and workplace safety.
  • Ability to lift, pull, and manage heavy equipment and objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and exposure to potential irritants.
  • Ability to climb ladders and enter heavy equipment cabs.
  • Ability to walk on uneven and broken ground.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include lifting heavy objects, walking and standing for extended periods, and performing strenuous physical labor in adverse field conditions. The employee must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support, and effectively jump, sprint, or throw objects. Excellent stamina is required.
