Master Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Planner to join our team at Global Recruiters of Charlottesville (GRN). As a Master Planner, you will be responsible for leading planning and design assignments, developing schedules and budgets, and preparing proposals and marketing materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of professionals in planning and design assignments
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and taskings
• Prepare and present proposals and marketing materials
• Create opportunities for the planning team and company
• Work within company project management protocols and procedures
• Manage team resources and identify skill development requirements
• Perform technical QA/QC of project deliverables

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in planning, architecture, engineering, or related field; Master's preferred
• 8+ years experience in planning/design projects; military experience preferred
• Leadership and teamwork skills, with ability to work with multiple offices, subcontractors, and client representatives
• Excellent communication and writing skills, with ability to work with large project teams
• Ability to manage big projects and meet deadlines
• Professional discretion and judgment, with critical eye for detail, completeness, and competency
• AICP Certification, Register Architect, or Register Landscape Architect is important
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
