Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team at Fs-Elliott. As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will play a key role in assembling mechanical components and systems, ensuring high-quality products are delivered on time.

About the Role:

  • Assemble mechanical components and systems according to blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to assemble parts and verify dimensions.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure assemblies meet specifications and customer requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any assembly-related issues or defects.
  • Perform routine maintenance on assembly equipment and tools.
  • Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Document assembly procedures, parts used, and production data.
  • Work closely with engineers and other team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Assist with inventory management of parts and materials as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (vocational or technical training in mechanical assembly is a plus).
  • Proven experience as a mechanical assembler or in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or production.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools, and basic knowledge of mechanical components.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety standards.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
