Position Overview & Requirements- Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Shift Length: 12 hours
- Employment Type: Travel
The PCU unit, known as 12 West, is dedicated to the telemetry care and management of patients with hospitalist medicine needs, including those suffering from strokes and neurological conditions. This unit is recognized as a certified primary stroke center.
Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS
The current patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5, with a goal of achieving 1:4. All traveling nurses are expected to be flexible and assist in various areas as needed.
Important Note: All requests for time off must be communicated upfront during the submission process.
Shift Details: Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)
Compensation: The pay package is structured around 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
