About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant in Fraser, MI. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping students with speech and language disorders achieve their educational and personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' speech and language abilities to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's unique needs and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services and regularly monitor students' progress to ensure they are meeting their therapy goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment and ensure a cohesive approach to supporting students' speech and language development.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions, progress, and student outcomes to inform future therapy planning and evaluation.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to provide insights and recommendations for students' speech and language needs.
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology to ensure you are providing the most effective and evidence-based therapy services.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and educational staff.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and educational staff to support students' speech and language development.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
