Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Stocker - Perishables Specialist to join our team at Restaurant Depot. As a key member of our warehouse staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking product on shelves, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt, courteous, and friendly service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, stock, and rotate perishable products on shelves, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing shrinkage.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to HACCP regulations and company standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Hi-Lo operators to ensure the selling floor remains stocked and safe.
  • Communication: Inform supervisors of low stock or out-of-stock merchandise, ensuring timely restocking and minimizing stockouts.
Physical Demands
  • Walk/stand on concrete for up to 10 hours/day
  • Frequently turn, stand, reach, stoop, and/or bend
  • Frequently push/pull objects 500 to 1,500 lbs.
  • Frequently lift/carry objects over 60 lbs.
Work Environment
  • Frequent exposure to cold/freezing temperatures
  • Equipment in motion (forklifts, electric pallet jacks, scooters)
  • Perform other work-related duties as required and assigned
