Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop effective treatment plans to address their rehabilitation goals.
  • Provide hands-on physical therapy interventions, including exercises, modalities, and education, to help patients achieve optimal physical function and independence.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with departmental standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in departmental in-service activities and continuing education seminars to stay current with best practices and evidence-based research.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Maryland.
  • Experience in outpatient rehabilitation or related setting preferred.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities. The physical demands of this position include standing, walking, and lifting, with occasional heavy lifting and bending.
