Job Title: EMT Instructor

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EMT Instructor to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As an EMT Instructor, you will be responsible for providing instruction and training to students in our Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) educational program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver high-quality instructional content to students in our EMT program.
  • Participate in program planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure the program meets the needs of our students and the healthcare industry.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to ensure students meet the program's learning objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in EMT education to ensure our program remains relevant and effective.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in EMS, with a strong background in teaching and training.
  • Current certification as an EMT Instructor in the State of New Jersey.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and external partners.
