Job Overview

Pantheon Data, a leading provider of IT services to the US government, is seeking a skilled Cloud Migration Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for migrating large legacy systems to the AWS Cloud, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance.

We are a private company based in the Washington, DC area, providing a range of services including infrastructure resiliency, contact center operations, and software engineering. Our customer base includes commercial clients and agencies within the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Defense, and other Federal Civilian Agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze existing C# and .NET applications to understand their architecture, dependencies, and integration points.
  • Develop comprehensive migration strategies and plans for each application.
  • Modify applications as needed to align with AWS infrastructure and best practices.
  • Optimize code for performance and scalability within the cloud environment.
  • Integrate applications with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and others.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in C# and .NET development.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with application migration and refactoring.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and AWS services.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
