Current Opening: Residential HVAC Installation Lead Technician

Employment Status: Non-exempt

Position Summary:

The Residential Installation Lead is responsible for the proficient installation of HVAC systems in residential settings, adhering to the standards set by Tom's Mechanical, Inc. and relevant regulatory bodies. The installer must prioritize safety and maintain exceptional customer service throughout their work.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute HVAC system installations with a focus on quality and efficiency to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate effectively with customer care teams to optimize scheduling and minimize delays.
  • Be available for assignments during evenings and weekends as required.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record to facilitate travel to job sites.
  • Engage in ongoing training to enhance skills and stay updated with industry advancements.
  • Communicate any customer concerns or obstacles to the Residential Systems Manager promptly.
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Uphold professional communication standards with customers, ensuring quality service delivery.
  • Lead by example to inspire team members in delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Support on-call installation schedules and respond to emergency HVAC situations as needed.
  • Work with the Residential Installation Supervisor to create a skills development plan.
  • Maintain accurate logs of refrigerants used.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
