Radiologic Technologist Position

To provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a safe and efficient operation of diagnostic equipment during scheduled and on-call hours.
- Provide assistance in departmental activities as needed, including clerical, transport, and film processing tasks.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure accurate and reliable imaging results.
- Demonstrate patient care skills relevant to the needs and behavior of all age groups.
- Assist physicians with the administration of contrast agents and operate Meditech, HIS/RIS, and PACS computer systems.
- Attend mandatory meetings and programs to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or eligibility for registry.
- Certification from the State of Iowa.
- BCLS certification.
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with regular exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and risk of radiation. The noise level is moderate, and the employee must be able to lift and move up to 100 pounds.
