Unit Information: ICU Location: HCA Houston Healthcare West Address: 12141 Richmond Ave., Houston, Texas 77082 Floor: 2nd floor Building: Cardiac Tower
Staffing: Number of Beds - 28 Number of Staff – 70+ Type of staff: All RN staff plus free charge and unit secretary Day Shift – 1 free charge nurse, 14 RNs and a unit secretary for full unit Night Shift – same as above Patient Ratios – 2-3:1 Type of equipment – hypothermia, CRRT, vents, pumps (IV and feeding) EMR - Meditech
Requirements: ICU at least 2 years (acute) Need CV experience - recover open heart surgeries, post-CABG pts EKG competent
Preferred Skills: Cardiovascular surgical Neurovascular surgical
Shift Details: Shift starts at 6:45am/18:45am (must clock out for 30 min lunch) Report must be given at the bedside
