The Boom Crane Specialist plays a critical role in the success of our construction projects, requiring a unique blend of technical knowledge, physical ability, and problem-solving skills. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill this position, joining our team at Powerline Constructors Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate crane under general supervision, ensuring safe and efficient lifting operations.
* Manipulate or depress cane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist, following written, verbal, or signal instructions.
* Inspect crane for safety issues daily, identifying any malfunctioning parts that require attention.
* Complete job tickets, service quality summaries, and other necessary paperwork, providing accurate documentation of work completed.
* Lift, position, and place machinery, equipment, or other large objects at construction sites, adhering to precise limits and standards of accuracy.
* Drive trucks to worksites, unloading them safely and efficiently.
* Place blocks and outriggers to prevent capsizing when lifting heavy loads, using boom sections to extend or modify the boom for pile driving or high lifting.
* Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy, operating crane according to signals from helpers.
* Start and stop crane engine, following directions carefully.

Requirements:

* Hold a Class A or Class F New York State Crane Certificate, passing regular fit-for-duty tests and background checks.
* Possess strong interpersonal skills and good relationship-building abilities, demonstrating flexibility to work overtime when necessary.
* Exhibit self-starter qualities, motivating others to improve their work quality while maintaining excellent time management skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary for this role ranges from $70.16 to $84.98 per hour, with benefits including dental and vision insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement plan.
